Catching fire and stepping in as the team’s ace, attacking at .380%, Jacob put on streaks of consecutive kills, which helped the team pull away with the lead. Even more, Vander Beek’s defensive game played a crucial role in the Matadors’ wins, keeping them afloat against powerful offenses like the Stingers. In their win against the LA Blaze, Vander Beek racked up double-digit digs, proving to be a well-rounded opposite which is just effective in the back and frontcourt.<\/span><\/p>\n
